Your teacher Emily Burns is a dancer, yoga teacher and psychotherapeutic counsellor who has worked with her body all her life and has trained in classical Hatha yoga in India. She will encourage you to listen to your body and find what your body needs through yoga poses, breathing and relaxation. Hatha yoga works on balancing the energies in the body whilst working on the internal organs and helps you to develop strength, balance, focus and concentration.
The classes are suitable for all levels including beginners. They encourage us to find focus and stillness in some challenging poses whilst enjoying the natural flow of the body in motion as we move through other poses: finding balance, peace and harmony of body and mind.
