Hall Support Seals England Victory

By our soccer correspondent Gareth Southgait

A capacity crowd at Exeter Street Hall last Saturday afternoon played a crucial part in England’s stunning success against a below par Swedish team, according to a local source close to the England tea manager.
Here at the Hall we’re naturally delighted to have played such a pivotal role in the team’s progress into the Semi-Final stage of the 2018 World Cup competition, and would like to thank the whole community for coming together to produce an irresistble surge of energy and encouragement that could be felt some 2000 miles away at the Samara Arena, close to the banks of the Volga river!
Below are some rare photographs of the occasion, courtesy of Marianne Craig.
Next Wednesday we are hosting the Semi-Final match between England and Croatia, which kicks-off at 7pm. Demand for tickets (still only £1.00 each) is certain to be high, so make sure you book online here early! Doors open at 6:30pm, and there will be a licensed cash bar available.
